KATHMANDU, June 11: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has extended an invitation to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit Nepal.
Dahal made this announcement while speaking to the media at Tribhuvan International Airport upon his return from India on Monday.

"I have invited Modi to visit Nepal," he stated. "In our meeting, we had an in-depth discussion on strengthening Nepal-India relations and implementing past agreements between our countries," he added.
He also mentioned that the discussions with Indian officials covered various bilateral issues, including the resumption of meetings of all bilateral mechanisms, the implementation of the Pancheshwar multi-purpose project, the Arun hydropower project, and cooperation in the agricultural sector.
