A minor Rejisha Gopali passed away at Kanti Children's Hospital on September 4. The inquiry committee's report indicated negligence in the emergency room as a contributing factor to her untimely demise.
PM Dahal noted that the report submitted by a three-member probe committee formed five days after the incident was made public. "The hospital failed to exhibit the level of sensitivity expected from those working in the emergency department. If anyone is found responsible, appropriate action will be taken," he said.
Emphasizing the need for learning from this tragedy and bringing improvements, PM Dahal highlighted the committee's conclusion that managerial weaknesses played a role in the incident. He affirmed the government's commitment to take swift measures to address these deficiencies.
