PM Dahal said that he is preparing to change the grant programs as well.
“Because of the existing way of distribution of subsidies, the farmers working in fields have not received the required subsidies. It is widely reported that only the middlemen have benefited from the subsidies and grants meant for the farmers. That's why I am changing such programs,” said PM Dahal.
He also said that the budget for the next fiscal year will focus on investing in the programs targeted at youths.
“The current budget is focused on creating employment opportunities by addressing the youth. It happens in agriculture. Investment based on industries is also focused on raw materials produced from agriculture,” he said.
