During the meeting, Bhattarai informed Yadav about his upcoming visit to the Maldives to attend the upcoming 17th SAARC summit slated for November 10-11. [break]
The meeting is also said to have dwelt on the issues to be raised at the SAARC summit. PM Bhattarai is leading an 11-member Nepali delegation to the regional meet to be held in Addu Atoll, the Maldives.
On the occasion, the PM is also learnt to have informed about the latest political developments especially in the aftermath of the seven-point deal on the peace process.
This is the first time that the executive head and the state head have met after the signing of the peace deal that has given impetus to the country’s long-stalled peace process.
