Tuladhar served for 27 years in ICIMOD and retired as the director of the international organization last November. Tuladhar, who completed MCom degree, has been a member of the foreign relations department of UML for years.[break]
Thapa, who is secretary of the party´s publicity department, is also the editor of the party´s mouthpiece Navayug monthly for the last four years. Former central member of the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Thapa was the editor of Budhabar Weekly run by the party for six years. Thapa, who is a Master´s degree holder in sociology, has authored four books on politics and federalism.
Likewise, Khanal appointed Deepak Amatya as his chief personal secretary and Rambabu Adhikari as personal secretary.
