In a different context, UML leader Gautam accused the government of not carrying out efforts enough to hold local body elections while emphasizing the need for holding three sets of elections in time.

On the impeachment motion against suspended Chief of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority Lokman Singh Karki, leader Gautam said parties had to propose the impeachment motion as Karki tried to go against political parties breaching the constitution and laws.
