KATHMANDU, Sept 27: Pioneer International Public School, Kapan on Sunday claimed the title of the Inter-school Chess Tournament organized by Annapurna HSS in Kathmandu.

Pioneer claimed four golds, two silver and four bronze medals. On Sunday, Biraj Pudasaini won boys' U-14 title and Aabha Pudasaini claimed girls' U-12 gold for Pioneer.
Similarly, Milan Lama of Annapurna School won boys' 14 year and above gold, while Anish Dangol of Bindhyabasini School claimed gold in boys' U-12 section. Likewise, Suprim Adhikari of Himalayan Academy won boys' U-10 event. Altogether 200 players, including 60 girls, from 32 schools participated in the three-day event.
