KATHMANDU, Dec 21: Nepal joined the global observance of World Meditation Day today, marked by a special program at the Army Pavilion in Tundikhel, Kathmandu. Various religious, spiritual, cultural, and social organizations in Nepal observed the day, which was declared by the United Nations.
A meditation program was organized with the presence of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at the Army pavilion. Prime Minister Oli, alongside other leaders, highlighted the importance of meditation for personal well-being and social harmony.

The United Nations declared December 21 as World Meditation Day, promoting global awareness about the benefits of meditation.
