BIRTAMOD, APRIL 15: A day-long photo and video journalism training has been organized by Federation of Nepali Journalists, Jhapa here today. 



American Professor Cally Hope is the trainer for the training being held here. Hope is sharing knowledge and skills related to photo and video journalism.

A total of 40 working journalists in Jhapa are taking part in the training. 


Meanwhile, at the same programme, local social worker Harka Lal Giri and media entrepreneur Kumud Bhattarai contributed Rs. 51,000 each to the Journalist Support Treatment Fund established by FNJ, Jhapa. 


FNJ Jhapa is targeting to garner Rs. 10 million for the Fund, which shall come into operation from mid-August. Journalists can join the fund for an entry fee of Rs. 3,000 and avail support from it in case of accident or illness, Fund Coordinator Ekraj Giri said. RSS
