KATHMANDU, Jan 11: Our colleague Kulchand Phombo has been bereaved of mother. His mother Gau Maya Limbu has passed away on Thursday morning after a short illness at her residence in Tehrathum. She was 83.

Late Limbu had brain stroke on Sunday after which she was bedridden. She is survived by husband Ambar Bahadur Limbu, 88, four daughters and one son.
