KATHMANDU, Sept 4: CPN-UML Vice Chairman Ram Bahadur Thapa has been bereaved of his mother.
Thapa's mother, Nanda Kumari Thapa, who had been suffering from a chronic illness passed away. She breathed her last this morning at his residence in Kshetrapur, Chitwan.

Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal paid tribute to Nanda Kumari and wrote, “We are saddened by the news that the loving mother of CPN-UML Vice Chairman and former Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa passed away this morning at her residence in Kshetrapur, Chitwan. I pay my respects to his mother. I express my deepest condolences to all the grieving family members including Thapa.”
