PANCHTHAR, Aug 1: The Phidim-Terhathum road section of the Pushpa Lal Mid-hill Highway has resumed from Monday evening.
The road section that was obstructed since Friday morning resumed after the landslide was cleared.
Boulders had blocked the road, so it was possible to resume transportation along the road section only on Monday.
“Explosives were used to break the stones to clear the road,’’ said DSP Krishna Prasad Koirala.
Although the road has resumed, another obstruction is likely due to a steep cliff.
After the road section was obstructed, locals of some 12 VDCs were hit-hard.
