Petroleum products price goes up

According to the increased price, petrol has been fixed at Rs 157.50 per liter in the first category, Rs 159 in the second category and Rs 160 per liter in the third category.

KATHMANDU, Dec 1: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased the price of petroleum products. The new prices came into force from Saturday mid-night.


Petrol price has been increased by Rs 1 per liter. According to the increased price, petrol has been fixed at Rs 157.50 per liter in the first category, Rs 159 in the second category and Rs 160 per liter in the third category.

In the first category, Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhgunj, Bhalwari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi and Birgunj are included. Likewise, Surkhet and Dang are in the second category, while Kathmandu, Pokhara and Dipayal are in the third category. 


The NOC has increased the price of aviation fuel by US$ 15 per kiloliter on the international side. 


The price of aviation fuel has been increased by Rs 2 per liter on the domestic side. 


Although the cooking LP gas has been increased by Rs 14.49 per cylinder, it has been kept unchanged for the time being in keeping with the interest of the consumers.
