Petrol dearer by Rs 2 per liter; diesel and kerosene by Rs 3

KATHMANDU, May 2: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC), the state oil monopoly, has hiked the price of petrol, diesel and kerosene on Wednesday.

According to the state oil monopoly, the price of petrol is increased by Rs 2 and diesel and kerosene by Rs 3 each per liter.

With the new price adjustment, petrol will now cost Rs 108 and diesel Rs 90 per liter. The new price will be effective from Wednesday midnight.

The NOC decided to hike the price of petrol and diesel after the price of petroleum products went up in the international market.

Earlier, on April 16, the NOC had hiked the price of petrol by Re 1 and diesel and kerosene by Rs 2 each.
