KATHMANDU, May 8: An unidentified group hurled petrol bomb at the Shivapuri Drinking Water Industry here this morning.
According to Ramesh Mahat, the company manager, a group of five masked persons took the company guard under control and threw the Molotov cocktail in the industry in a wanton manner.
A car (Ba 6 Cha 1172) and a motorcycle (Ba 51 Pa 8513) parked inside the company have been completely damaged due to the attack. Similarly, another motorcycle (Ba 26 Pa 8513) has been partly damaged.
Mahat, who is also a leader of the Nepali Congress, said that the attack is politically motivated as it comes just before the local-level election. Police has collected the details of the damage caused to the company due to the attack and mounted a search for the miscreants. RSS
