Petrol bomb hurled targeting FinMin

NUWAKOT, July 20: A petrol bomb was hurled targeting the vehicle carrying Minister for Finance Ram Sharan Mahat who is in his home district to collect public feedback on the draft of the new constitution on Monday.

But, the bomb went off on the road as the target was missed.

Secretary of Nepali Congress (NC), Nuwakot Ramesh Mahat informed there is a steep slope and forest above in the place here the bomb was thrown.

“The bomb was hurled from the forest area,” Ramesh told Myrepublica “We have safely reached Kharanitar for the function.”

The incident site is located near Chhodekhola of Ganesthan VDC.
