Petition filed at Supreme Court against President for not certifying Citizenship Bill

KATHMANDU, Sept 22: A writ petition has been filed at the Supreme Court against President Bidya Devi Bhandari for not certifying the Citizenship Bill as per the Constitution.

Sunil Ranjan Singh and others filed a petition at the apex court on Thursday after President Bhandari refused to certify the Citizenship Bill passed by both the houses of the Federal Parliament for a second time.
