BAITADI, June 19: A person died after being buried under a mound at Khaditaal of Siddheshwor – 3 in Baitadi on Saturday night.
The deceased has been identified as Bhawani Dutta Pant, 67, of Maharudra, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Mohan Prasad Pokharel of District Police Office, Baitadi.

Pant was working at a stone mine when the mound projecting from above suddenly collapsed over him. The locals had retrieved his body from the soil.
Police have dispatched a team to the incident site for investigation, according to the District Police Office, Baitadi. RSS
