KATHMANDU, Jan 12: The people's representatives of Dang district met with Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Rekha Sharma, and discussed different agendas, including expansion of the Tarigaun Airport in the district.
During the meeting held at the Ministry in Singha Durbar this morning, discussions were held on development and construction in Dang district including the establishment of an industrial zone and an office of the Bureau of Standards and Metrology, said National Assembly member Anita Devkota.
HoR meeting: lawmakers draw govt attention on various issues
On the occasion, Minister Sharma expressed commitment to take possible initiatives to address the issues raised during the discussion.
National Assembly member Devkota, Deputy-Mayor of Tulsipur Sub-metropolis, Syani Chaudhari, President of Dang Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Basant Joshi, General-Secretary Mahendra Budhathoki, among others, were present on the occasion.
