Pedestrian dies in road mishap

RAJBIRAJ, Sept 24: A pede-strian was killed in a road accident at Shambhunath Municipality-5 of Saptari district on Sunday.  The deceased has been identified as a local Asha Devi Shah, 60, according to Area Police Office, Kalyanpur.  

The incident took when a motorcycle (Me 8 Pa 4410) heading towards west from east hit Shah while she was crossing the road.  According  to the District Police Office, Saptari, she died on the way to 
Biratnagar-based Neuro Hospital. Police have arrested the motorcyclist and impounded the vehicle. Vehicle of state minister vandalised during market monitoring.
