Directed by music video maker Pradeep Kaspal and cinematographed by Dhiraj Jung Shah, “We Want Peace” is composed, written and voiced by upcoming singer Bishnu Tuladhar.
Kaspal claims that this upcoming video has caught up a different line to address the importance of peace to prevail in Nepal.
“We’ve always seen mountains, hills and forests whenever any music video on peace was released. We’ve also seen a lot of violence in such music videos before. This new music video is completely different,” Kaspal unveiled.

The music video of not more than three minutes and 20 seconds has Nepali newsreaders modeling into it. Kaspal also discloses that this video will not be highlighting any of the war footages to explain the importance of peace and political stability in the country.
Kaspal explained, “People have already seen enough of bloodshed and violence. I don’t want to press the rewind button again. This video has differently portrayed peace, and side by side has touched the sensitive political issues of Nepal.”
In a nutshell, the synopsis of the video is newsreaders longing to read a different line of news other than about political conflicts.

News broadcasters and journalists like Kalpana Bhandari, Malvika Subba, Prasan Syangden, Summet Sigdel, Sweta Sinha, Yashodha Timilsina, and Rajan Kafle are the models in the video. Apart from them, wrestler Himalayan Tiger, singer and composer Araj Keshab, medical nurse Aparajita Sharma, and some school students have also given their share to make this video worth watching.
The main models in Kaspal’s “We Want Peace” are Shishir Subedi and Ashmita Bhandari.
