Speaking at a news conference on Friday, the NC leader said at a time when the Maoist-led government was ruling in the country, the Maoist party should prepare a basis for constitution writing by taking the peace process to a logical end after submitting the weapons of the PLA combatants to the government. She said the NC has given high priority to the peace process than the constitution writing saying that constitution cannot be protected until the weapons and combatants were managed.
Leader Koirala said the four-point deal signed with the Madhes-based parties during the formation of the government was against the country´s sovereignty. She claimed that the forces wishing to disintegrate the country and obstruct the development process, couldn´t be called patriot.
