KATHMANDU, Aug 15: Patan High Court Judge Rameshwor Regmi, who was diagnosed with brain cancer, has passed away at the age of 61. Judge Regmi breathed his last at Nepal Cancer Hospital, Harisiddhi, Lalitpur, while undergoing treatment on Wednesday night.
Regmi was diagnosed with brain cancer and had been undergoing treatment for the past three months. Regmi, a joint secretary of the Judicial Service Commission Services, was appointed as a high court judge in 2020.

One of his close relatives said that his final rites are being performed at Pashupati Aryaghat.
Expressing grief over the death of Judge Regmi, all scheduled activities of the Patan High Court have been postponed for today.
