KATHMANDU, March 17: Partly to generally cloudy weather has been forecast in the hilly areas of the country due to a low pressure system developed in Bihar of India and its surrounding areas.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather in the hilly areas of the country will remain partly cloudy due to this system while the rest of the places will be clear. The Division has also requested the people to take precaution to avoid the possible effects of heat as the mercury is rising across the nation.

According to the latest details provided by the Division, today's minimum temperature of the Kathmandu Valley was recorded at 13.6 degrees Celsius and maximum temperature at 29.5 degrees Celsius. The lowest temperature in the country was recorded at 4.6 degrees Celsius in Jumla and highest temperature at 33 degree Celsius in Bhairahawa today.
