Most regions have clear skies, while the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces remain partly cloudy today. Some parts of the central and eastern Terai are experiencing foggy conditions.
During the day, the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces will remain partly cloudy, while the rest of the country will experience clear weather. One or two places in the high hills and mountainous regions of Koshi Province may receive light snowfall.
Partly cloudy skies likely across Nepal this afternoon
At night, partial cloud cover will persist in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces, while clear skies will dominate other regions.
Over the next 24 hours, light snowfall may occur at one or two locations in the high hills and mountainous areas of Koshi Province. The department has also predicted foggy conditions in some parts of the Terai on Saturday morning, which could slightly impact daily life, health, roads, and air transport. Authorities have urged necessary precautions.
