Parties strike deal finally, budget bill to be discussed first

KATHMANDU, July 22: A meeting of the major political parties has struck a deal  to discuss the budget bill in the Parliament.


According to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defense Bhim Rawal, the meeting of the three major political parties held in the Legislature-Parliament building in New Baneshwar today decided to first dwell on the budget bill in the Parliament.


The House meeting has been called for 4:30 pm. The Parliament will then discuss the no-confidence motion after the budget bills.

The Parliamentary businesses have been affected after the parties stuck to their guns.


Nepali Congress-CPN (Maoist Center) alliance was maintaining that the no-confidence motion should be discussed before the budget bill while the ruling alliance CPN-UML was in favor of the budget bill.
