Charting out a new calendar of events of statute-drafting, resolving disputes of eight thematic committees and some other issues were discussed, Nembang told reporters after the meeting.

"The meeting has urged parties to forge consensus on the disputed issues and build the basis to continuously move ahead constitution-drafting process," he said.

Another meeting has been called on August 8 to finalise the new calendar.
