“Youth below 30 years of age, whether Nepali or otherwise, from all over the world can submit their pieces, given that it’s written in Nepali language,” informed Kritika Lamsal, project coordinator for the competition, at the press meet held at Nepal Tourism Board, Exhibition Road on July 15.

The best 20 out of all the submissions will be finalized for the main contest. The finalists will then be called to recite their poetry amidst a ceremony to be held in Kathmandu. Following the recitation, top three winners will be declared through a panel of judges. They will also receive a handsome prize of Rs 50,000, Rs 25,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively.

Submissions, along with a participation fee of Rs 100, can be made online or dropped in one of the centers enlisted in the contest’s website, by August 18. For details, visit mydreamsmag.com.
