KATHMANDU, Nov 10: The weather will remain changeable in the highlands of the country. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there is currently an influence of westerly winds in Nepal.

The officials of the MFD have said that the weather will be partly cloudy to generally clear in the hilly areas including Sudurpaschim province this afternoon. 

Similarly, there is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning at one or two places in the hilly areas of Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces. There is a possibility of light snowfall in one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of the country.

The weather will be partly cloudy to normal in the hilly areas of the country including Sudurpaschim province, Karnali province and Lumbini province tonight.

There is a possibility of light rain with thunder/lightning at few places of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces. There is a possibility of light snowfall in some places of Karnali and Sudurpaschim regions of high hills and one or two places of other high hills and mountainous areas.

As there is a possibility of snowfall, the MFD officials have requested everyone to remain cautious.
