KATHMANDU, June 8: The parliamentary meeting has been postponed by two days. After failing to convene on Monday, the meeting has been rescheduled for Wednesday at 1 pm.
Earlier on Monday, a meeting held at around 3:45 pm was also disrupted due to protests by opposition parties. Although Speaker Dev Raj Ghimire had announced that the meeting would resume after half an hour, it could not take place.

The main opposition party, CPN (Maoist Centre), along with Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), and the CPN (Unified Socialist), have been obstructing parliamentary proceedings over the issue of the visit visa scandal.
