KATHMANDU, Jan 25: A federal parliament meeting has started amid protest by the main opposition Nepali Congress in the parliament building in New Baneshwar on Friday.

The ruling Nepal Communist Party has geared up to endorse the much-talked Medical Education Bill.

The ruling NCP is tabling the Bill in the parliament for endorsement today following the approval by the Parliamentary education and health committee.\

As soon as the parliament began, NC lawmaker Pushpa Bhusal made her remarks urging the government not to dissolve the GP Koirala respiratory Hospital and Sushil Koirala Prakhar Cancer Hospital.

No sooner Bhusal ended her remarks than the NC lawmakers rushed to the wells and started chanting slogans against the government’s proposal to endorse the Medical Education Bill.
