After the incident, those players addicted to gambling have gone to Kusma bazaar--headquarter of Parvat, Kedar Sharma, a resident of Shivalaya in Parbat district said. “They play cards at various hotels and private homes,” Sharma said.
Police in Baglung said they have been keeping watch of such gamblers but added that gamblers are under political protection so they face pressure from local leaders to free the gamblers after arrest.
Police in Parbat, meanwhile, said they are unaware about Baglung gamblers visiting Parbat.
