Paras slips eight notches in T20 ranking

KATHMANDU, July 23: Nepali national cricket team skipper Paras Khadka slipped eight notches down in the latest ICC Twenty20 batsmen ranking, however, bowler Basant Regmi has climbed 20 positions up in the bowlers' rankings.

Similarly, four Nepali players have made entry in the ICC's bowlers' rankings, while a batsman has been dropped out of 100 positions of ICC's batsmen ranking.Paras, who was in 64th position earlier, has been relegated to 72nd position in batsmen's ranking, but he made entry in the bowlers' ranking as he stands in the 91st position.

Meanwhile, Sharad Vesawkar climbed four positions up in the batsmen rankings. Sharad, whose last ranking was 81st, is now in 77th place among 100 batsmen of ICC T20 playing nations.

However, Gyanendra Malla, who was in the 86th position, has failed to secure berth in the ranking.

Similarly, Basant, whose previous ranking was 83rd now stands on the 63rd in bowlers' rankings.

Shakti Gauchan (74th), Sompal Kami (79th), Sagar Pun (91st) and Paras (91st) also made it into bowlers' rankings.
