KATHMANDU, Feb 6: Pakistani wicket keeper and batsman Mohammad Rizwan has come to Nepal and met with Nepali national cricketers including Sandeep Lamichhane.
He arrived in Nepal on Sunday evening and met the players of the national cricket team on Monday morning. "We met with Rizwan in the morning," said a player.
On Sunday evening, Rizwan met Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) President Chatur Bahadur Chand and discussed Nepali cricket.
Chand said that Rizwan had the intention of meeting Nepali leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane. "Rizwan said that he came to see Sandeep as he could not go out," said Chand.
CAN President Chand said that Rizwan, who came to Nepal for a very short time, is scheduled to return today at 12 noon.
