Pakistan strengthening relations with Nepal

KATHMANDU, Aug 12: Pakistani Ambassador to Nepal, Arshad Saud Khosa, has said he was working to strengthen relations between Pakistan and Nepal.



Addressing a programme organized by Pakistan Study Centre in the capital city on Monday, Ambassador Khosa said that Pakistan was assisting Nepal in different sectors including trade, commerce, education and technology. [break]



Similarly, he said Pakistan was working in partnership with Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Nepal to promote bilateral trade.



According to him, Pakistan is playing a constructing role to make the SAARC active, dynamic and result-oriented.



On the occasion, former ambassador to Bangladesh Mohan Lohani said for the durable peace, regional stability and economic development, Nepal and Pakistan could play a leading role through the SAARC.
