KATHMANDU, July 31: The Public Account Committee (PAC) of parliament has instructed the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Nepal Police headquarters to provide details about the deal to purchase some 57,000 jackets for police personnel.

The committee asked the ministry and the headquarters to provide all the details within seven days from Wednesday after a complaint was registered at the committee. The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority had seized documents related to the deal from the police headquarters earlier this week.
