Over 200 Nepal-bound cargo vehicles stranded in Rupaidiha

NEPALGUNJ, Nov 6: Indian Custom Office, Rupaidiha has not allowed cargo vehicles bound for Nepal to pass through the checkpoint on Friday.

Following the obstruction over 200 cargo vehicles including petrol tankers have been stranded in the Indian soil Rupaidiha, said Sub Inspector Bishnu Giri, in-charge of Area Police Office Jamunaha.


India Custom Office has allowed only seven vehicles to cross the Rupaidiha checkpoint this morning, he added.

Indian Custom, Rupaidiha has impeded the cargo vehicles heading to Nepal citing order from the top authority.
