KATHMANDU, Aug 21: Ujaya Shakya, Founder of Outreach Nepal, has been awarded with "Asia's Most Admired Marketing Leader" at the 14th CMO Asia Awards.
The event, held on August 17, 2023, at Pan Pacific Singapore, celebrated the exceptional accomplishments of marketing luminaries across the Asia Pacific region.
Shakya has been awarded for his remarkable contributions to the field of marketing. CMO Asia Awards, endorsed by the World Federation of Marketing Professionals and established in 2010, identifies and celebrates trailblazing leaders who have significantly shaped the marketing landscape. Shakya's dedication to promoting Nepali advertising and nurturing a dynamic professional ecosystem in Nepal has earned him this prestigious honor.

With over two decades of experience in strategic 360-degree communication, branding, and social behavior change communication (SBCC), Shakya played an instrumental role in successfully introducing global brands to Nepal. Moreover, he has led impactful SBCC campaigns addressing public health and societal concerns. His expertise is encapsulated in his 2015 publication, "Brandsutra."
As a prominent figure in the Asian industry circuit, he frequently serves as a jury member and speaker at advertising and brand awards, reaffirming his status as a thought leader. His leadership and dedication to advancing Nepal's marketing sector have garnered recognition throughout the region, inspiring emerging professionals to strive for excellence and harness the transformative potential of marketing.
