Ordinance issued on need of good governance and development: PM Oli

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that various ordinances were introduced realizing the necessity for good governance and development in the country. He said that the ordinance was brought after intensive discussions with the top leaders of major political parties in the government, experts and concerned sides.

Kathmandu, Jan 16: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that various ordinances were introduced realizing the necessity for good governance and development in the country. He said that the ordinance was brought after intensive discussions with the top leaders of major political parties in the government, experts and concerned sides. 


The Prime Minister came with this view at a press meet held at his office in Singha Durbar earlier today. He further shared that the ordinances were brought with plenty of homework and cautions realizing their relevancy and necessity. He further committed to make the government's action result-oriented.

These ordinances highlight the government's commitment to good governance and development. The ordinances have come with full consent of all sides concerned. Only the land-related ordinance was under study and not stopped by the President, the Prime Minister said. 


Prime Minister Oli mentioned that the ordinance was introduced based on the intensive discussion with the top leaders and experts and the suggestions of entrepreneurs and businesspersons. He also shared that the Parliament will be convened at the appropriate time. 


Chief Secretary Eaknarayan Aryal shared about the features as well as the need of the Ordinance.
