“Gender-based violence is a global crisis that hinders progress toward gender equality. Campaigns like Orange the Schools are essential for raising awareness and inspiring collective action. Empowering youth is key to breaking the silence and building a future free from violence,” said Bina Rana, president of the Zonta Club of Kathmandu.

Bishakha Lakshmi Khadka, head of Corporate Communications and CSR at Ncell, highlighted the campaign’s focus on modern challenges like cybersecurity. “By instilling values of equality and accurate information in young minds, we can lay the foundation for a violence-free society. Addressing issues like cyber security and data privacy is essential to protect vulnerable groups in today’s digital age,” she stated.

The campaign features presentations, video screenings, and discussions on topics such as child marriage, domestic violence, and cyber security. Teams from Zonta Club Kathmandu, Saathi, and Ncell Foundation are conducting interactive sessions to engage students and teachers, fostering understanding and advocacy.
