Oppns discuss anti-govt protest

KATHMANDU, Sept 26: A meeting of five opposition parties, including Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN-UML, on Wednesday discussed the program of protest to be launched against the government.



The meeting held at the UML central office in Balkhu, discussed modes of protest, including peaceful sit-ins and boycott of public programs attended by government ministers, UML politburo member Raghuji Panta told reporters after the meeting. [break]



Details about the protest program will be discussed and agreed upon during their next meeting scheduled for Thursday, also to be participated by more other opposition parties.



Besides leaders from NC and UML, representatives from Rastriya Prajatantra Party, National Madhes Socialist Party and CPN-Maoist were also present in today´s meeting.
