Talking to media persons at Biratnagar Airport, today, she said the current government would not be toppled through the street protest declared by the opposition parties as it was against the 12-point deal inked between the then seven political parties and the CPN (Maoist) in New Delhi, India.
Also, she was for moving ahead by adopting the national reconciliation policy of popular leader BP Koirala to settle the current political crisis.
The Former Minister for Foreign Affairs, Koirala said the current protest invites confrontation among the parties and that the political parties should forward the politics of consensus and collaboration.
NC central member Koirala said the opposition parties should join the current government and go for the elections to collect fresh mandate.
