According to him, the pre-monsoon has begun as the local wind has started to have its influence. Its impact has been seen also because the temperature has started to go up.
Aryal added that the weather in the hilly region gets affected frequently during these three months. Rainfall takes place for a short period of time. Even within the Kathmandu Valley, rain might take place in one area while no rain in another area.
Although the effect of the pre-monsoon is seen in the hilly region, it will not be seen in other regions. During the pre-monsoon, there is a likelihood of lightning during this time due to the combined influence of the Westerly wind and the local wind.
