KATHMANDU, July 20: One more Chinese citizen has been arrested in connection with the case of gold smuggled through the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).
The police on Thursday arrested Chinese citizen Lingchuan from the TIA.

So far, seven people have been arrested in connection with the case of smuggling of gold concealed in scooter brake shoes through the Tribhuvan International Airport.
According to the police, a total of seven people including one Indian national and one Chinese national have been arrested in one of the biggest seizures of smuggled gold in the country.
Among those arrested are Dilip Bhujel, 21, originally from Dolakha's Melung Rural Municipality-3 and currently residing in Sankhu, Kathmandu, Ramkumar Bhujel, 53, from the same address currently residing in Swayambhu, Kathmandu.
Similarly, Harkaraj Rai, 49, originally from Bhojpur Arun Rural Municipality-4 and currently residing in Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu, Thapten Chhiring, 49, originally from Old Delhi and presently residing in Panipokhari, Kathmandu (Indian citizen), Rajendra Rai - customs agent and Ashok Lama the taxi driver have been arrested.
About 100 kilos of illegal gold was seized by the Department of Revenue Investigation (DRI) from a taxi (Ba 2 Ja 2324), which exited the airport on Wednesday.
