DHADING, Dec 12: One person was killed while two others were injured when a motorcycle and a scooter collided near Bihani Pump of Gajuri Rural Municipality Ward 2 on the Prithvi Highway Sunday morning.
The accident took place when the motorcycle (Ba 44 Pa 9836) and the scooter (Ba 63 Pa 4834) collided head-on and the motorcycle was hit by a moving truck (Na 6 Kha 749), according to Jageshwar Bhandari, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office. The deceased has been identified as Suk Bahadur Chepang, 33, of Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality-10.
Two killed, 19 injured in Sarlahi bus mishap
The injured have been identified as Surendra Waiba, 25, of Siddhalek Rural Municipality -1 and Sonam Ghale, 28, of Gajuri.
Traffic was blocked for an hour after the accident on the highway and later it was restored after the removal of vehicles that met with the accident.
