DANG, May 5: At least one person was killed by an unidentified armed gang in Gam, Rolpa district on Tuesday. According to District Administration, Rolpa, the deceased is yet to be identified. A police team led by Deputy Superintendent of Police Dibesh Lohani reached Gam by helicopter at 5pm to take stock of the situation. It is still unclear as who opened the fire and what the motive was behind the incident. Rebels from the Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) have been active in Gam for the past several months.
