One killed in accident

PALPA, Oct 2: A person was killed and three others were seriously injured when a jeep (Lu 1 Ja 779) heading for Parvat from Walling, Syangja fell 250 meters down the road at Thum Pokhara-9, Mainkhola, police said.



The one killed in the incident is yet to be identified, while the injured include driver Yuva Raj Dumre, conductor Deepak Thakuri and Khem Sharma, a passenger from Putali Bazaar Municipality-3.



The three are currently receiving treatment a hospital in Pokhara.
