One killed in accident

MAKAWANPUR, Oct 23: One person died and 21 others have been injured in a road accident on the East-West highway at Lewat, Basamadhi-3 Friday morning.

Thirty-year-old Mamata Devi Saha, a resident of Hajipur, India died on the spot when the bus she was traveling in overturned, police said.

Passengers injured in the incident are undergoing treatment at Hetaunda Hospital. The bus (registration number plate Na 3 Kha 7822) was going towards Birgunj from Kathmandu.
