The deceased was Nain Singh Thapa, 26, of Ghiringasundhara-4,said police.
Among other injured are Kalawati Khanal, 80, of Baini -8, Radha Karki of Jagarkot-8, Bhim Bahadur GC of Jagarkot-2, Budhhiman Shrestha, 72, Ramesh Basnet, Tara Aale and bus driver Sanu Gurung, said Ram Kunar Dani, Inspector at the Area Police Office Belchautara.
The injured are being treated in Gandaki Hospital Pokhara. The bus veered off the road about 200 meters down.
