KATHMANDU, Oct 1: A pillion rider died, while motorcyclist was injured in a road accident at Kalimati on Saturday morning.
The mishap happened when the motorcycle, Ba 60 Pa 9110, hit a road divider, according to the Metropolitan Traffic Police Division.
Pillion rider Samir Karmacharya, 20, of Balkhu died while receiving treatment at Martyr's Memorial Hospital.
Motorcyclist Sandeep Tamang, who was seriously injured in the accident, is being treated at the same hospital.
